Parvo is a deadly and highly contagious virus that attacks a dog’s digestive system, causing severe vomiting, diarrhoea, and dehydration.

📌 It spreads through:

• 🐶 Direct contact with infected dogs
• 🦠 Contaminated surfaces (soil, bowls, shoes, hands)

Puppies and unvaccinated dogs are most at risk. Without treatment, most dogs do not survive.

⚠️ Signs

• Severe, foul-smelling diarrhoea (often bloody)
• Vomiting
• Loss of appetite
• Extreme weakness & lethargy
• Fever or low body temperature
• Dehydration (dry gums, sunken eyes, skin stays “tented” when pinched)

🏥 What to Do

🚨 Parvo is an emergency—act fast!

• Take your dog to the vet immediately! They need IV fluids and medication to survive.
• Isolate the sick dog to stop the spread.
